I wonder...

I just read in a blog that Darth Plagueis was way older than Yoda. If so what kind of race was Plagueis(Human, Twilek, Wookie, etc.)? And if he was human how long do humans live in the Star Wars Universe, and/or do humans live longer if they are one with the force?
