I was on the message boards in the EU section when the question was asked; "What is the future of EU after the LOTF?" and it got me thinking and what I started to write I wanted to put on my blog and so here it is.

I would like to see more single books now and then to help with the other Jedi Masters. For example, in the PT books, we get stand alone books that give us insight to Mace Windu(shatterpoint) and Kit Fisto(Cestus Deception) for examples. I think we need books like that for the New Jedi Order so that we have a stronger connection with characters like Ben Skywalker, Kyp Durron, Corran Horn, Valin Horn, Allana and Jaina and Tesar and Lowie and so on and so forth and honestly, there can only be so many huge wars. We need small skirmishes or character growth books, that slowly leads us to the re-emergence of the Empire and the Sith in Legacy. The key to to keeping Starwars alive is to have several strong characters and strong new characters that make us want to miss them when they die, but keep on reading after the big 3 go!
