Did you ever notice that in battlefront 2 when you play as the rebels in space on the Yavin 4 (and possibly more levels I haven't cheked) that something is where it shouldn't be. There is an LA-AT in the Rebel hanger. When I got a closer look at the ship it even had rebel markings. Even if this ship survived the Cone Wars and wasn't replaced by some other ship it would have gone to the Empire anyway because the Republic became the Empire. A fatal error. How could you miss it.
