Hello one and all, this is Ecabob reporting in, back from my vacation. I would like to say it's good to be back to blogging.

As you know I specialize in lego blogs, I have tinkered with my blog name and description as the more astute of you may have noticed. No today will not have a lego blog, instead it will be all about my vacation. Don't worry, I plan on having one up tomorrow afternoon. Anyways, enough talk, lets get down to business.

Early last Saturday morning, we left on the long 5 hour trek down to the beach. We watched Episodes I and II on the way down, but me, being still sleepy, slept through the first half of TPM and drifted off again during the love scenes of AotC. Luckily, I was awake in time for the arena battle, but by then we had arrived at the condo.

We didn't do much that day, we just went down to see the beach, had a swim in the bathwater-warm pool, and ordered pizza for our dinner. After dinner, I managed to convince my dad into using his Laptop for a half hour to check in on the blogs, which he allowed me to do each night.

The rest of the week was very nice, and started with us just going down to the beach to read, me reading my new book Cloak of Deception, then going in the surf with my dad, and rinsing off in the pool. We went down to swim the first afternoon, and then on Monday my dad and I went down to the beach and made a Venator Class Star Destroyer out of sand. (I'll have pics up later) And on Tuesday my brother and I watched RotS after dinner.

On Wednesday Mom took us all out to play putt-putt and afterwards do go-carts. I was tall enough to drive, and I raced my mom and my dad with my brother in tow. On the 4th of 7 laps, dad spun me out accidentally after I cut him off, allowing mom to take the lead and go on to win.

Thursday was the night that my parents went out for dinner after ordering us pizza and putting ANH in for us to watch. When they got back, dad asked my brother and I lightsabre battle him out on the beach while mom went on a walk. We accepted and began our battle. We finished just in time to meet mom back at the condo and go to sleep.

With Friday being our last full day at the beach, we did things differently. We started out going to a putt-putt, a different one than the one we went to last time and had a blast. After that, we went to the pool and wrestled with our dad. (with the help of our newly bought squirtguns of course ). And then that afternoon, we went up to the beach and made a huge sand fortress to defend us from the tides. It held steady for about an hour, but then it was destroyed, and we went back to the condo for dinner.

We finished up on Saturday by packing up the car and then saying goodbye to the beach by feeding the seagulls bread. It was amazing the way they would hover about and catch the food in there mouths, or dive in and get the bread that dropped on the ground. Anyways, we watched ESB and RotJ on the way back, and got back just in time to save our dog from having to spend another stormy night in the kennel.
