Star Wars 30th Anniversary
Where to begin........

Heres wishing Star Wars a magnificent 30th Birthday. I was quite pleased with the way Celebration 4 was done. It was unnaturally relaxed for such a large convention. Several highlights for me was:

Hanging out with many friends that I've known on the boards for many years. It was a great experience.

Meeting Celebrities and VIPs. It was remarkable to shake hands with people that basically gave birth to my own scientific imagination. My wife and I were actually having drinks with some of the production staff from the OT. The theme was infact celebrating the 30 year span of the film Star Wars (1977). An that's exactly what everyone did. Business and moderating and all the technical difficulties for managing such an event seemed virtually non existant. It really was a 5 day party.

Playing Lazer Tag. What the HECK!!!! I was so sore afterwards. I thought it was simply a fun game with kids running around an making easy targets.......well when it comes to Star Wars fans? They do not make easy Targets. I tripped an fell during the second battle round. It was like a movie scene. As I fell I could hear Lazer senses going off all over the obstacle course. I continued my sloppy slide right into a make shift Tank Ballon. From there our captain didn't let up, we had to push forward and advance on the enemy. It was awesome because we all operated as a team. From 40 years of age to 6 . Bravo Team !!! HUAHH!!!

The Legacy Panel was one of my favorite sessions. My mind was totally geared toward the Authors as well as Pablo, Sue and Shelly. Every fan question had my 100% attention.

Troy Denning and I had a very interesting conversation. Based on what starwars.com user Vergere7 pointed out. She said in Star by Star on page 89. Anakin Solo sensed something that perplexed him . ...as well as all of us (including Denning himself) . If anyone can actually find out the answer, this will make alot of us sleep easier.

Who is the man in the moon on page 89 of Star by Star?

Fan Films .......need I say more? There was Endless hours of Star Wars playfulness on screen .

Jay Lagaiia is a man of all strengths with a sense of humor thats unrivaled. He stayed at the same Hotel as we did an it was fun being around him. On my last day Jay was talking with the Wookie Designers from Episode 3 . I asked if he would take a photo with me an he gladly agreed. Not only did he take the picture, but he grabed a marker an signed me an my wifes Lanyard. If it wasn't for all the merchandise that I bought to remind of this trip, I probably would have thouhgt it all a dream.

L.A treated me and my wife very well. GenCon was an experience I'll never forget. If anyone is interested in seeing my pictures then feel free to click on my Blog site .

That is awesome, dude. I played Laser Tag and it was pretty fun. I went there twice because I just can't stop having too much fun. Hanging out with friends were great as well. The only great actor, that I had a wonderful conversation, was with Richard LeParmentier. He is such a great and funny guy. We talked for about an hour to an hour and a half. Not only he is an actor, but he is much a great friend. I want to thank him for that. He is already my great friend since the convention. Here's my photo album from the Celebration IV I took:

I didn't get to do the lazer tag... poo doo. But I did spend most of Friday running after my one year-old, so I probably bumped into you at some point. (Literally. Sorry about that.)

I hardly can believe I was there too. It's all like a very good dream. I can't wait until C5. We have to talk more people into going next time.
