It's party time!

Pez Party Time, that is!

I know I told you a few weeks ago that I'd start my holiday contest series the week after Thanksgiving, but I decided I would start before Turkey Day. This is my way of saying "thank you" for spending so much of your time with me (it is a feat since I do not write short blogs! ).

I was at one of our local candy shops earlier this week, and caught a glimpse of the 9-piece Star Wars Pez Set. The winner will be able to treat herself/himself to one of the crunchy candies using either the Death Star, Boba Fett, General Grievous, Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, R2D2, Chewbacca, Yoda or C3PO containers, depending on whatever mood strikes you at the moment! I thought to myself, "Self, that might be a fun Thanksgiving raffle prize." I hope you agree, because that's what this raffle's prize is - the entire set!

The guidelines are the same as my previous raffles. I'll go over them for those of you who are either new to our blogging community or have never taken part in one of my raffles (or for those of you who have forgotten what they are). Here we go . . .

Simply copy (or type) Add My Name To The Hat to the comment roll.

Deadline is the time I go to bed Friday night, November 17 (trust me, it's pretty darn late!)

The contest is open to all bloggers (including previous winners), no matter where you live. I will ship around the world (I live in the US), so don't let that keep you from enterring the raffle.

There is absolutely no cost to you (for anything). This is just my way of doing something nice for my fellow bloggers here in our GFFA community! I have so much fun reading your blogs (and adding my two cents worth . . . okay, sometimes four cents), that I want do something for you I hope you will enjoy. You add a lot of sunshine to my world.

The drawing will occur Saturday morning, November 18. I will write each of your blog names on a strip of paper, place the sheets in my Star Wars hat and have one of my padawans pull the lucky winner's name out of the hat mid-morning (central time) on Saturday. Please check back Saturday afternoon to see if you're the winner.

In Saturday afternoon's blog, I will ask the lucky winner to email me his/her real name and mailing address.
