There you have it - my own Star Wars slant on a holiday favorite. Only time will tell if my version will become a classic!

Truly, I was inspired by the very talented chantreusse, our own jediprincess77 , to try my hand at a parody. She has kicked off the Balanced Force Day festivities with a missive she wrote recently. I had an idea for a Balanced Force Day entry of my own, and I have followed jp77's lead.

To spread a little holiday cheer of my own, I am holding a double holiday raffle this year. Yes sirree! I am raffling off two - count them two! - Star Wars related prizes, and all I'll tell you is that I hope you'll like them. I won't reveal any other information because . . . well, that would ruin the surprise!

Here's all you have to do to have a chance at one of the surprises . . .

Send me an email at mwolf12@wi.rr.com. All your email has to say is "Throw my name into Santa Yoda's cap!" It's that simple.

The raffle is open to everyone, including past raffle winners. The contest will close Wednesday, December 19 at 12 noon central time (I'll let you do the math for your own time zone ). My youngest padawan will pull the two lucky winners' names out of Santa Yoda's cap, and, by early evening on the 19th, I will contact the two winners. I have one very important requirement: If you are a minor, you must first check with your parents before enterring since I will require your mailing address to send you your prize (should you win).
