One of the most breathtaking sequences in Star Wars is the pivotal moment when Luke Skywalker shoots his proton torpedoes. We're all screaming at the screen "Make it! Make it!". And when he does, we're all on our feet cheering like the Rebel Alliance at the Battle of Endor. Butothers, like Darth Vader and the Empire, are not so pleased with the current situation. And let's face it, they have every right not to be!

Luke Skywalker is not a hero in their eyes. He's a murderer. A mass murderer.

Luke Skywalker killed so many that day. Trillions were just innocent bystanders just doing their job. Many had family. Wife and kids. How do you think those families felt when they received new that their husband/ wife/father/daughter/brother, etc, died on the Death Star. Died at work.

Not everybody in the Empire were cruel, evil tyrants. The population that were probably deserved what they got on the Death Star, but the rest certainly did not.

Think about that, folks. Was Luke really a hero after all?
