Yoda. When ever we hear that name we always think of a little green man with a wise sense of humor. But how much do you know about this jedi? How much would you like to know? Read on and find out everything about this great jedi master.

Yoda was born in the year 896 B.B.Y ( Before Battle of Yavin) on the planet Rothana. After being born, a group of dark jedi barged into the hutt and slaughtered Yoda's mother Belk, who was one of the first jedi to be trained in the jedi order. Yoda escaped the sith, by a lone jedi by the name of Julland Welekar. He was told by the jedi council to watch Belk, beacause she was often troubled with the council and had lately insulted it. So, he wittnessed the slaugtering of Belka and saved Yoda.

When Yoda reached a certain age ( 5), Julland Welekar decited to tell Yoda about the slaughtering of his mother. Yoda thought of it as a will and not an accident. At that moment, he asked Julland, "Julland, heard you talk of the force I have. Interested, I am of learning it." At that moment, his life changed forever.

Julland then took Yoda to the jedi temple to be tested. " Strong you are in the force young one. Too strong" said a jedi master. They accepted Yoda into the order as a jedi padawan. For 200 years Yoda was trained in the hands of Julland Welekar. Julland unfortunetley, did not get to see his padawan be crowned jedi knight. Julland reached extreme old age and fell dead on the mists of Degobah. After completing the final trial in the jedi code, Yoda was crowned jedi and switched his blue lightsaber for green.

It was then Yoda's choice to join the council. In the next 400 years Yoda fought in the Star Hyperspace war. On the lines of battle Yoda met a perculiar character on Nar Shadda, a black padawan by the name of Mace Windu. Yoda fought on many planets with Mace Windu and the two became friends instantly.Through the years Yoda watched Mace go from an arrogant padawan, to a council member on the council. Yoda taught many children the ways of the force. His training made many padawans great jedi of the order. Then the dark times came.

Yoda grew to be 928 years old. He died a one of the greatest jedi in the universe. But....his spirit was not forgotten.
