Formula One is a symbol in Europe. With everyone watching there are two main drivers, Michael Schumacher (Ferrari) and Fernando Alonso (Renault) battling it out for the World Championship.
I personally am for Michael!
In about 6 1/2 hours, what should be the most important race of Ferrari will take place at Monza, Italy.
But of course, there are problems.
Michael lost pole position to Kimi Raikkonen by 0.002 seconds! Alonso got 5th, but a complaint by Massa stating that Alonso had blocked him during his "hot lap", reduced the young Spaniard's grid postion to 10th place by the FIA.
This race could very much
decide the outcome of the World Championship with only 4 races to go. Alonso leads Michaell by 12 points but he is far away in the middle of the grid and catching up to the front might be difficult.
Although, Renault does have a history of being "shot from a gun" when the race starts.
There is also the question of whether Michael will be retiring this year. After the race, Ferrari will be releasing a simple, single sheet of paper stating the driver line-up for next year. Will Raikkonen move to Ferrari, and take Michael's spot? Will he take Massa's? Or will it be the same line-up?
Who are you for?
