Ok, so I'm a few days late with this...

King Kong sweeps! Well deserved, too. That was a great track. I'm still sad that Ep.3 didn't get the nom. though. Ah well.

I'd like to point out the Academy's omission of the STUPID way they handled the "technical" (sound, VFX) Oscars last year. Line 'em up on stage like a beauty pagaent! Or better yet - don't even let them come on stage - they can sit in their chairs! That was so insane... That coupled with comments from Chris Rock and Mike Meyers about how no one cares who wins the sound awards.... It's nice to see that none of that actor/director-centric crap was present this year. Movie making is a group effort. Period. I dunno... I guess they figure people only watch the Oscars to see celebrities dress up and smile.

I did enjoy the little fake ad campaign thing they did for the Sound Editor award!
