This is my very recipe that is all of my own! I was experimenting on a lazy snow day a couple of weeks ago (hey, what else was there to do?), and came up with this one after some tedious cutting; this is a much healthier alternative to regular bagged potato chips! (And, if I must say, I thought that they tasted better

) If you haven't checked the latest updates, I have been nominated by

featured blog! Have fun with this one! (Oh, and if anyone has a fullproof way of slicing potatos really thin, let me know!)
Bothan Baked Potato chips
1 Bothawui spud (or a regular potato, whatever sounds better)
4 tbs. Bantha extract (or maybe olive oil?)
1 ½ tsp. Kessel salt (or any other salt handy)
1/8 cup Cultured Shaak (or parmesan, whichever)
1. Slice the spud thin enough so that it is partly translucent. This is really, really hard; I used a really big butcher's knife, but it still took me nearly half an hour. If one of your slices is to thin, you can shave off little bits of it by placing the knife in the middle of the piece and sawing it. (If anyone has any other ideas on how to better cut them, please let me know!)
2. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place the spud slices onto an old cookie sheet, and evenly distribute the Bantha extract, salt, and Shaak.
3. After 15 minuets, the very thin pieces will have cooked. (Some may be look really burned, but those normally don't taste any different) The slices that are done will look brown or a browning yellow color; test the ones you're not sure about (they will be crisp, and will snap in half if strained.) Check about every 4 minuets after that for the rest of them, and enjoy your very own homemade potato chips!
