Spaceport Connections
The sun is shining and summer is finally here. So now that my husband and I are off work for July and August, we've got all the time we need. Perhaps we'll do some traveling, quality time with the kids is always nice, and maybe we'll fly up to West Vancouver to visit my parents and our horse ranch.

Anyway, lets get to it, shall we? Yesterday, I invited over some of my girlfriends for movie night at our place. We sat down in front of our home theater and nevertheless, popped in the good ol' Star Wars. I mean, who can possibly go wrong with that!? We started at about 8:00 pm with The Phantom Menace and ended with Return of the Jedi. Don't ask me how I managed to stay awake for that long! It must have been the Force that kept me going ;).

Now usually I have to watch a movie more than a few times to notice the small little details that sometimes connect one action to another or even one movie to another. Thus, it so happens to be I noticed what appeared to be Luke's future X-34 Landspeeder, which we later on see Luke own in A New Hope. Then it occurred to me. It's kind of weird to think that little things like this connect the past to the future, and poor Luke has no knowledge of any of it until the very end. We gradually see how he discovers his father's history, Darth Vader, once known as Anakin. Luke, in fact, ends up bringing Anakin back, as we all know already...*sigh*...our little hero, Luke :x .

When I saw the landspeeder in the spaceport in Tatooine when Padme, Jar Jar, Qui-Gon, and Artoo enter, I immediately thought, "That's kinda spooky." I must admit, I have quite interesting thoughts. I'm a deep thinker most of the time, especially for something I feel so passionate about such as Star Wars. It makes you want to jump into the story and just spill it all out, tell Luke everything that happened if you know what I mean. I'll tell you one thing, I'm not the greatest at explaining my thoughts all the time :^O but I think you'd get the point.

Well, there you have it, Spaceport Connections. All of us need some space to blurt out our thoughts whether it makes sense or not! :D And don't get thinking this'll be the last you've heard from me today!

Forcefully, Jedi Amidala9
