Ramblings of an Irishman

Introductory blog
Ok, I thought it was about time for me to make a blog, though my blogs will most likely be few and far between. I couldn't think of anything much to say, so it a fit of creativity, have decided to write a little bit about myself, and what areas of Star Wars interest me.

Some of you may know me from Wookieepedia; I really like contributing there, and am the current Wookieepedian of the Month. I've written over a dozen featured articles there (which, (without trying to toot my own horn) I can tell you is not exactly easy) - a list of the articles I have worked on can be found here. I generally work on my own, but I do sometimes work in conjunction with other users. I've worked on a broad range of articles at Wookieepedia, though most of them are characters or alien species. I'm currently working on FAing the B'omarr.

I also contribute towards (though not as regularly as Wookieepedia) Darthipedia, a Star Wars humor wiki. It's only new, so I'm sure it could use your help. So please visit, or we will Destroy Your Planet! :p

My interests in Star Wars vary; I'm a big fan of both the movies and the EU. I love the Original Trilogy, and I also thoroughly enjoy the Prequel Trilogy, though I feel it could have been executed better. In the EU, I like pretty much everything, though Tales of the Jedi and some WEG stuff I particularly like.

The primary reason I got a hyperspace account was to enter 'What's the story?', though that seems to be on the way out :( - hardly impeccable timing on my part. I'll be really disappointed when it finishes, because I think it's a good way to show fans that they are important (and I'm sure it also boosts the number of hyperspace members ;) ).

In real life, I'm a 15 year old Irishman. That's about all I'm ever going to tell you.

So there you have it, me (at least related to Star Wars) summed up in quite a short amount of words. I hope to see you around. Any comments/feedback/ramblings/insults are welcome. :)
