We did it... we're done...we're spent.
For years we wanted to pen a Star Wars novel. However, even though we have a plot in mind we have difficulty putting it on paper in a way that would make interesting reading. What to do, what to do. Well, another dream we have had forever, is to create our own comic book, and upon reading the new
You Can Draw Star Wars book (great helpful tips book) we decided to instead pen a Star Wars comic book. And not only did we find it easier, we actually penned a 24 page (standard comic book length...unless the standard has changed

) script of our very first Star Wars tale.
Firstly, we want to state that this is not meant to be a work of fan fiction. Our ultimate wish is for LFL and Dark Horse to publish this tale. We plan on doing the art ourselves; however, being our own worst critic, we would have no problem with another artist to pick up that task. Maybe Matt Busch or Tom Hodges would be interested. Secondly we plan on writing a part two and if feasible story wise a part three, all to be finished script-wise by no later than December of this year.
Now, for those bloggers out there who are curious as to what the story is about and even might be interested in seeing some comic panels, when we finally return to civilization we will post a teaser of the comic on Myspace, or some other web page. In fact, if any of our fellow bloggers have a suggestion as to a good web page, let us know.
For all of LFL employees that frequents these blogs, and for Matt Busch, Tom Hodges or any other artist that frequents these blogs who might be interested in our comic tale, we hold our breath that you'll contact us...still holding...hold...ing...
All comments are welcome regardless of what is said. After all...we can just delete it if we don't like it.
