"I'm standing here in pieces, and you're having delusions of grandeur!" ~C-3PO
As a partial continuation of my blog here, where I talked about watching the Saga in order-I did manage to finish Return of the Jedi last night. Watching all the films in order, it's easy to understand why George decided to replace Sebastian Shaw with Hayden Christensen at the end of ROTJ, though I still don't know if I really like it or not...

*Sigh*

I miss it now-watching the movies I mean. I just might have to watch it all again on Friday (God love government jobs and paid holidays-it's Veteran's Day). While I will be paying tribute to the Veteran's, living and deceased, I may have to take some time and watch the movies again (at least III, IV, V, and VI).

*maybe I'll thrown in the Clone Wars cartoon for good measure, thanks to a suggestion by Graffitti*

~But I had an observation and question...has anyone else noticed that during the space battles in the OT, that there appear to be boxes around the ships? Slightly off-color-like a grayish black, and at one point in ANH the box looked almost green. Maybe (most likely) it's my very low quality TV that I've had for almost 10 years. It's much more pronounced on the DVD than anything I remember from the VHS versions of the movies, so maybe it also has to do with the digital transfer. I know it's got to be related to the kind of effects used to make the movie, but it is very distracting for me when watching the films.

*shrugs*

Are there any other viewers who noticed this like I did? It's not as bad in ESB or ROTJ, but very noticeable in ANH.

Or am I experiencing delusions of grandeur???
