Next-Gen Consoles
As E3 unfolds, and the new consoles are released, which one will I choose?

The Xbox 360 is my first instinct because I own Xbox now, and I love it. The new features and capabilities of the next Xbox are tremendous as well, with Xbox Live having features one could only dream of in the original Xbox. Plus, the whole "entertainment sytem" idea is great. Looking at the graphis though, I'd have to say that I'm not too impressed, most of them looking like Xbox 1 graphics.

The PS3 looks amazing. I've seen screenshots, and the graphics are unlike any we have seen before, some looking like a real-life picture. The features and capabilities are all there as well, matching the Xbox 360 in all areas and topping them in graphics. Easy choice? Nope, the PS3 costs $500. Yikes.

The Nintendo Revolution looks good, but not as good as the other two. Some features on the Revolution are the same as Xbox 1 and PS2, such as the add-on DVD feature. Yes, it's tiny, but the capabilities on it just don't match the other two. However, the awesome thing is the ability to download and play all previous (or most of the favorites) Nintendo games that have been released in the past for all the Nintendo systems. Many of my favorite games come from those consoles, so it'd be awesome to play them on the Revolution.

Which one to buy? I don't know, I'll have to wait and see. Xbox 360 looks great, but the graphics on PS3 are much better. PS3 however is $500, which is a lot for a game system. As for Nintendo, I might get that for the purpose of playing the downloadable games. In any case, I don't think you can lose with any of these systems.
