Monday, after I see ROTS for the third time, I will be writing my review. But in the meantime I've been thinking about the future of Star Wars alot, since I'm still rather bummed that the movies are finished. That's when it occurred to me that the best character to follow in a spin-off series would be none other than Boba Fett!

Boba Fett is probably the most popular cult figure in the entire Star Wars universe. He has a great deal of history from the movies (now) and his life as a bounty hunter lends itself perfectly to episodic stories -- each week he takes on a new bounty. Of course, set against the backdrop of the crumbling Republic and rise of the Empire alot of great things could be done.

Perhaps we could learn more about the Mandalorians? We could discover how he becomes employed by Jabba The Hutt. Maybe he even helped catch some of the rogue Jedi who survived the purge. The possibilities are wide open. And besides, Boba Fett is a cash cow there for the taking.

If I had to bet, my money would be on him for the show!
