Faster than a speeding Sith
How can one Jedi, even a Dark Jedi Sith Master, slice down three of the best Jedi Master swordsmen in the entire order in the blink of an eye?

This is something that has always bothered me when I watch it. It happens in the middle of RotS, when Anakin has finally found out that Chancellor Palpatine is none other than Darth Sidious, the Sith they have been looking for. He goes to the temple to tell Mace Windu. Mace knows Palpatine must be arrested or killed, so he takes Saesee Tiin, Eetn Koth, and Kit Fisto with him.

Something left out of the movie, but included in the novel edition of RotS is a little discussion that takes place between the Jedi. Kit and the others mention to Windu that they would feel a lot better if Yoda or Obi-Wan was with them. Mace just says they'll have to go it alone. Just a little interesting foreshadowing.

Anyway, the Masters get to the office, and after challenging Palpaltine, Darth Sidious attacks them, and in the first few seconds, the three other Jedi besides Mace Windu are cut down.

Now if you have read any of the EU novels, or comics, or seen the DVD's, you know that these three Jedi Masters that were just cut down are some of the best Saber masters out there. They are bad ###. (and if you havent read the books, comics, or watched the movies, i suggest you do. It just adds more fun and information) So how can they so easily be cut down?

Is Palpaltine, who hasnt held a lightsaber in many years, or been practicing, so easily kill them? I dont get it. He cant be THAT good. Or can he? What do you guys think?

Sorry if this is a repeating blog.
