Paxi Sylo only appears in chapters 12 and 13 of Star Wars: Clone Wars, but there is some debate as to how big a part he plays in the series as a whole.

Paxi is a young boy who lives with his family on a farm on the desolate planet of Dantooine. Nearby, a battle erupts between Separatist troops, attempting to conquer the planet, and Jedi Master Mace Windu. Paxi watches in awe as Mace destroys the Separatist army single handedly then swoops up to Paxi's vantage point where the young boy offers him a drink.

Mace defeats the army with ease, and so some wonder whether what we see in the cartoon is an actual representation of the battle, or rather Paxi's interpretation. This could explain why some of the events seem to be exaggerated. We know from his databank entry that Paxi loved to doodle and this quote from the same source supports the argument that battle is illustrated by Paxi:

History has lost track of whatever became of Paxi Sylo. By the time of the Empire, the Sylo farm had been completely abandoned. However, at the height of Palpatine's New Order, a bootleg animated holographic video file began propagating in the shadier parts of the HoloNet. It depicted the heroic exploits of Mace Windu on Dantooine.

The Imperial Security Bureau did what it could to stop proliferation of such a treasonous piece of media, but it gained a cult status among would-be Rebels. Though the holovid is unattributed, the style does match up with the early illustrations of a young Paxi Sylo.

If the fight between Mace and the Separatists was Paxi's interpretation, maybe the rest of the series is too. As Paxi lived on Dantooine, far from most of the events of the Clone Wars, this could explain some of the continuity errors or more spectacular storylines.

I think the theory is definitely an interesting one, but like many aspects of Star Wars, you'll just have to make up your own mind.
