Your sad devotion to that ancient religion...
"Your sad devotion to that ancient religion..."

This seems fitting to me for all of the complaining I've been hearing. Why devote yourself to something that you dont believe in or appriciate?

This is something that has been bugging me since the first time I saw ROTS. People just keep complaining about the PT. I keep hearing things like "Wow, that was so bad at the end!" or "Man, Lucas really screwed up..." And these are all said by the so-called faithful Star Wars fans. I just dont get it. I mean, I'm sure you all reading this have all of the movies and would say that Star Wars has changed your life in one way or another. If it hadn't, then why on Naboo would you be on starwars.com? For me, before I saw Star Wars for the first time back in 1997 at the re-release, I was a pathetic little 6 year old girl that pulled the heads off of her Barbies. Look at me now. Star Wars has been with me for 8 years and never has my love for it faltered. It has helped me through some tough times and it will be something that I will love till the day the Force takes me. So, I guess I'm here to say thanks to the man that created it and has carried out his unique vision to the end no matter what people may say.

And, for all of you that still say you hate or dislike the PT, the why dont you stop watching them. Get rid of everything that has to do with them. Could you do that? I mean, you paid to see them and now that you've seen them you are spending a lot of your time complaining about them. They are obviously important to you and mean a lot to you. Now I'm not saying that you cant be dissapointed if its something that means a lot to you and it didnt seem to fulfill your dreams. But I think we all forget about the guy that created them in the first place. Where would we be without him? In a world without Star Wars. A much lesser world at that. So, even though you may have done something a little different, it is still, in the end, Star Wars.

-Love y'all and may the Force be with you.

P.S. Thanks again to Mr. George Lucas. We love you.
