I have just finished reading the 6th installment in the Harry Potter series for the 2nd time.

I thought that it was the best book so far and by far the most dark and depressing. J.K. Rowling has really gotten into her knack of writing. It's so good. I would highly suggest it to anyone who likes reading.

There are just a few things that bugged me...

First off...SNAPE??? NO! I couldn't believe it! I mean, it's Dumbledore for crying out loud! He trusted him and protected him when the rest of the world didn't. How could he? And, yeah, I know that Snape has been harsh and just plain cruel at times, but I really though he had changed. I was in tears. First Sirius and now...The Only One He Ever Feared. Truely depressing.

And...um...Harry? What was the deal with Ginny? DEAR GOD! I mean, you are like in love with her...she has always been in love with you...so what in Mustafar did you mean by it? (Sorry about my brief Star Wars moment...) She would have gladly given her life for Harry, so why did he just break it off. I understand where he is coming from, how he would be devistated if she died, but, he is obviously going to need someone he loves in his life right now. Well, yeah, he's got Ron and Hermione, who I'll get to later, but to have a girlfriend, that, I'm sure, would have helped him in the next book. Besides, he's now lost two of the most important people in his life, why take Ginny away from him too?

And, for all you sappy-romance lovers, like myself, whatever happened to Ron and Hermione? Okay one scene that killed me...or at least made me scream...

"Slug Club? It's pathetic. Well, i hope you enjoy your party. Why dont you try hooking up with McLaggen, then Slughorn can make you a King and Queen Slug..." - R
"We're allowed to bring guest, and i was going to ald you to come, but it you think it's that stupid then i wont bother." - H
"You were going to ask me?" - R
"Yes, but obviously if you'd rather i hooked up with McLaggen..." - H
"No, i wouldnt." - R

He loves her! And she totally loves him! Why doesnt it ever get to work out? They better get together in the 7th book or I'm gonna have to shoot someone. Grr... I'm sorry, I have always rooted for them...those two are made for eachother.

One last thing..."The Chosen One" ????? What? Total Star Wars steal. That was the only thing about the book that I didn't fully like...that title just belongs to something eles for me.

But for a book...one of the best I have ever read in my life. And I have read hundreds. It really kept your attention and set a whole lot up for the final installment:

1. Harry and Ginny...?
2. Ron and Hermione...?
3. Tonks and Lupin...?
4. Snape the betrayer
5. Draco the killer
6. Bill the werewolf
7. The Horcruxes
8. Harry and Voldemort
9. The rest of the Death Eaters
10. Is Harry really not going back?

Great book! Cant wait to read it again...maybe I'll start now. Yeah! I really think that you all should read it. If you like Star Wars and other sci-fi/fantasy stuff then this is top on your list.

P.S. Dont ask about the pic...I just love Darth! And he's like Voldemort. He loved and then he lost it because of what he did...and Voldemort had the chance but chose power over love. Like Darth. Darth, you rule!
