Supreme Chancellor Valorum We should have listened!

I believe that this is part 2 of my Chancellor Valorum series! I'm glad you came to read it! I think that he would have learned from his mistakes or went out of office before he caused any damage because of hesitating. I believe that he was a pretty wise leader. Nobody complained about his Leadership until Padme` was persuaded and pushed by Palps. And the Senators just go with the flow no matter what the flow is. Such idiots! But the Rebublic would have prospered under Valorum and would not have declined in technology like the Empire declined so much and the Sith woulden't have their revenge!

I was watching Episode I today, and I was wondering what would have happened if Amidala hadn't moved for a vote of no confindence in Chancellor Valorum?
Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't he the one who recruted (or however you spell it) Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn as to go negociate with the federation? I think that the whole story would have been completly different and Anakin would have been indeed the one to have brought balance to The Force and eliminated the Siths?
