Here is my bone of contention today:

Why is there no apparent plan to release a next-gen version of SW Republic Commando?

I mean, who in their right mind doesn't love the Republic Commandos? (other than a Battle Droid)

The single player campaign, whilst not perfect, was pretty great, in my humble opinion.

Unfortunately, the multiplayer was so average as to be almost pointless in the face of such instant favourites as Halo but that could be rememdied, again in my humble opinion only, by making the multiplayer just like the single player! (for both cooperative and versus)

I mean, the force is fine but there's nothing like a good blaster at your side, particularly when it is in the hand of one of your RC brothers!!!

I think that the campaign could follow Delta Squad's efforts to rescue their brother Zev. I was gutted that there was no way to save him. I felt as though I had let him, my other brothers and myself down

But anyway, back to my point. Imagine the High Def possibilities! The graphics, even as sweet as they were in the original, could be ultra sweet now! And imagine the raw processing power of the 360 put to the task of pitting a 'battle hardened' droid army against the three ultra-hard Republic Commandos!!!

Add system link and online cooperative multiplayer as well as customisation of an online character and it's my shout for first round of drinks!!!

Plus, any excuse to add another awesome Republic Commando soundtrack to my collection is a good excuse
