IN THE INSIDER!!!

Wow. What a thrill. As a fan, I don't know if there is a bigger high than having something you wrote end up published for all Star Wars folks to see. Maybe if I somehow ended up writing an episode of the new Star Wars Live action TV show, but it's not like that's going to happen.

As much as I'd like to toot my own horn some more, I need to give props to my book club, Errant Venture. If it wasn't for being a part of a fantastic group of Star Wars literary enthusiasts, I never would have put that blog together. Thanks guys!

Oh, and thanks to the editors of the Insider for picking my blog. An even bigger thank you for leaving it pretty much as is and not editing it to pieces.

The way I discovered that I got published was when a friend called up to congratulate me. I hadn't had a chance to go through my copy yet, so I immediately began to rifle through it.

I couldn't find my blog.

I just assumed that it had been edited down to a tiny paragraph somewhere. I never would have dreamed that they would keep almost the entire article. Thanks guys.

My one piece of advice to the editors is that you alert the writer that he or she is being published. That way, they can tell all their friends to go out and buy many copies.

Speaking of which . . . I need to buy cover number 2.
