Ok this is it, the last few days before C4, and I give you one final update on what will be one of the biggest events of the Con for many of us here: The Official Bloggers Meet & Greet Party!

Before I get to the NEW info, I wish to repeat some of the older info so that those who are making last minute preparations to come do not have to go hunting for this stuff, plus I can delete the older update blogs to make some room later. So bear with me if some of this is info you have read before:

The "Official Star Wars Bloggers Meet & Greet Party at C4" will take place Thursday evening May 24th at 7pm at the Liberty Grill. The Liberty Grill is located at 1037 South Flower Street, which is directly across the street from the L.A. Convention Center.

EDIT NOTE: The Liberty Grille is actually one block OVER from the Con, not across the street. Its almost directly BESIDE the Holiday Inn Hotel which you can see from the Con Center if that helps.

The resturant is listed on the maps they give you of the area at the Con, so that should help to. ASK if you cant find it, its VERY close by!

The party will be open to anyone who wishes to attend, their families, and friends. While we are calling the "Bloggers Meet & Greet" one does not have to be a blogger to attend, just a fan of Star Wars!

No tickets need to be bought for this event, and there is no door charge. Everyone attending will be responsible for their own food bills and it will be a cash bar.

The party will start at 7pm Thursday evening, and run until about 10pm.

I will not name names (in case they can't make it, many will not be sure until last minute) but this could be your chance to meet some great folks from behind the scenes of Lucasfilm who are also a part of our blogging community!

If all goes well, I will be webcasting this party LIVE online for any non attendees who want to watch the fun from home!

To converse with us at the party and / or other viewers, simply click the live picture itself; it will open a larger window with a chat function. Enter any name you wish (you do NOT have to be a member of the site to do this) and sign in, it's that easy.

Again, for those unfamiliar with these types of things, slow internet connections or older computers I recommend giving the site a test run to see how your PC will react.

OK, now, finally, some NEW info:

I have been hinting that there are all sorts of entertainment in the works for the party; it can now be told just what we have in store for you there.

First up: Yes I WILL be bringing along a small but workable DJ system that will allow me to not only play some tunes but to act as MC for the event. After dinner and some live entertainment we can dance the rest of the night away to some all time classics and today's hottest tunes!

Yes, I did say LIVE entertainment didn't I?

I am PROUD to announce that our very own Jedi Princess 77 will be singing for us LIVE at the M&G party, and will be giving us a preview of her jazz arrangement of the Modal Nodes Cantina Band Theme, which she will also be performing at the Star Wars Celebrity talent show at C4!

In addition to music, we will have some comedy as well, as the King of Korn, The Master Of Mirth, The Sultan of Silly, the one and only Stooge himself will do a live "stand up" performance for us! That is, IF he can get there on TIME! Plan on staying until the end if you want to see this as he may be late getting there.

Many have requested that Hansgirl and I perform some of our song parodies at the party, and we have decided to honor those requests!

So, you will be treated (or tortured, depending on one's point of view) with a live rendition of Hansgirl's "Star Wars Rocks Us!" and my follow up "We Are The Fan Force!"

Print out the lyrics and bring them along (we will have copies there if you forget!) and plan to sing along WITH us to these parodies of the Queen classics!

Still not enough for ya? Ok then, how about some Star Wars Trivia? With the chance to win PRIZES???

Yep, I will be testing your knowledge of our Galaxy Far, Far Away with plenty of chances for EVERYONE to show off their smarts and win some way cool stuff!

All this entertainment...and this is just ONE NIGHT of the Con!!!
