C4 Recap: Odds N Sods!
I was doing REALLY well on my Celebration Racap Blogs right up until Day Three...then life took over and I have been behind in my blogging ever since.

But on the prompting of several fellow blogging friends of mine I got busy the past few days getting together a few more video highlights for your viewing pleasure.

Let's start with an event that took place over the entire 5 days of the Con, climaxing on the last day when it was complete: The Giant Ewok Village Diorama!

Built by the fans (many of them children) over the course of 5 days with materials provided by fan donations, the video here highlights the completed project set to the Ewok celebration song!

Our second video clip will take some setting up:

On Monday, the last day of the Con, a charity auction was held to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation and they auctioned off TONS of vintage Star Wars items that were directly from the Lucasfilm vaults...these items had been in storage for YEARS, many still in their original SHIPPING BOXES.

The auction went very well, raisng TONS of money for the kids, and at the end, as a lark, they decided to auction off some of the EMPTY CARDBOARD BOXES that were found in the warehouse that held many of the items.

Star Wars fans, being the good natured givers they are, gladly bid on these vintage boxes, some getting as high as 20 or 30 bucks depending on what label the box had on it.

The LAST box however, was SPECIAL...while many of them had shipping labels on them, this was the ONLY box that was addressed to GEORGE LUCAS himself.

So...how much would YOU pay for an empty box that had once been handled by The Maker himself?

Find out what it sold for HERE! You wouldn't believe this without seeing it yourself!

The last video clip for now is one that took quite some time to do but was well worth it.

Basically, it's a video (again set to music!) featuring random scenes from throughout the Con.

While impossible to cover the ENTIRE Con in under 10 minutes (the time limitation on You Tube) this video covers a little of everything and focuses mainly on just the experience itself, told through video clips combined with still photos.

These videos aren't TOO long but may take some time do don't feel obligated to watch them all at once. But when you have the spare few minutes enjoy them and let me know what you think.

Thanks as always....and there is still MORE to come as I get the chance!
