Before I delve into todays tour, a quick explanation of the number and name change...when I first started this tour I was calling it "DJ Mauls Ultimate Star Wars Toy Room Tour. "
I got up to chapter 35 and then took a small break as I'd covered the entire room at that point.
Later I came back and decided to revamp the tour by adding video clips and so decided to rename it "DJ Mauls Maul Cantina Tour" and started over again at 1.
The problem I ran into is that I stopped doing a video clip for EVERY tour, and since I have some fans over at You Tube who enjoy my video clips but aren't bloggers HERE if I changed the numbering system on the videos it would be too confusing.
So what I decided to do was go back, rename all the blogs under the OLD name and numbering system and keep the VIDEO clips under the new name and that way they can have their own numbering order.
Confused? Here,
have a cookie ...it will be OK.
On with the tour...
With the exception of action figures (which I covered in the
last tour ) there hasn't been a lot of NEW stuff out there that's struck my interest so I've been doing a lot of shopping online lately and found some great stuff old and new.
I've been on a tee shirt collecting kick lately and found the PERFECT score for me on eBay: a lot of
13 Star Wars Tee Shirts , all but ONE of them featuring my name sake Sith Lord!
I got a GREAT deal on
these shirts and while some of them seemed
brand new and others
slightly worn they are all
beautifully detailed high
quality and totally
awesome!
With the addition of that many Darth Maul shirts to my collection, I decided I needed something else as well and again found it on eBay: A
Darth Maul Baseball cap!
Yeah I know, you all loved my custom made
"DJ Maul" cap I had at C4 but hey, this hat looks pretty cool too,
don't'cha think?
While Maul hunting at eBay I also discovered and bought this cute little item, the mini
Darth Maul Medicom figure. This is a Japanese exclusive but seems to be easily imported by online dealers LOL.
Besides Darth Maul, one of my other collecting weaknesses is the Millennium Falcon, and I found a neat item on eBay that I hadn't seen before: a
Gold Foil Millennium Falcon Limited Edition Trading Card.
This was apparently a QVC "Exclusive" item several years ago and went for BIG money but apparently aren't reselling well as I got it for just a few bucks!
It's much shiner and prettier than that picture brings out.
Besides eBay, I've also picked up a few items at our own Star Wars Shop over the past few months, especially when they have good sales!
I picked up this beautiful
Lenticular Clone Wars Padme Print from Vivid Vision on sale and was surprised it hadn't sold out due to its extremely
limited edition.
I still have yet to find a frame or the wall space for this yet though.
I also picked up this amazing
Pewter Finish ART FX Darth Vader Statue from Kotobukyia for less than HALF the original price!
NO, it's NOT metal but it certainly looks that way!
I've also added two new Acme Archives Key Cells to the collection; the long awaited
Holiday Special Boba Fett and the newest one to come out,
Indiana Jones, celebrating his return to the theater!
Ok kids, to wind things down we finally have an all new Video Segment!
So without further ado I present
DJ Mauls Maul Cantina Video Tour part 19 featuring a shelf loaded with cups, mugs and other assorted goodies!
Enjoy and as always thanks for tagging along!
