In my attempt to catch up with my toy tours I will be covering several items here that I have had for some time but just haven't gotten around to talking about in a blog yet, so let's get right to it.
I found these
Chubby Stackable Figurines awhile back at a comic shop in the mall. They are a Japanese import item, and can of course be stacked one inside the other or set up to
display on little feet stands along side each other.
Targets always seem to get some interesting Star Wars stuff around the various holidays and this Easter time it was this cute little
plush Darth Vader with Jellybeans that caught my eye. I don't buy too many stuffed toys but I thought this one was cool, even though I don't like jellybeans LOL.
Another more recent addition to the stuffed toys is this cuddly
plush Yoda that my mother found for me in a thrift store somewhere...thanks Mom!
And speaking of GIFTS, I have a VERY belated THANK YOU to send out to my friend
Jedi Pug1!
Awhile back she and I were chatting about the new Dr. Who series and how I was becoming a fan, and we discussed some of the new toys from that show in passing and I said that while I was tempted, I passed on buying any because I wanted to stick to strictly Star Wars stuff for my budget.
Just a few days later and I received a box in the mail from her: this
nicely detailed Dialek!
Thank you SO much Puggie, I love it! Although so far I have still managed to resist temptation and buy more Dr. Who figs....so far....but it does now reside alongside a shelf full of other
Non Star Wars related stuff.
While I haven't covered them in a blog lately, I do still collect the Titanium Series whenever new waves arrive and several have over the past few months.
There was
this set that features Luke's T16 Skyhopper, Baron Fel's TIE, and Sasee Tin's Jedi Fighter .
This
next set is mostly repaints of earlier ships, but they were different enough to make me still want them.
Some NEW Titanium ships have come out though....the
Ep. II Version of Amidala's Starship (the one in the middle) finally came out awhile ago and now resides between the Ep. I and Ep. III versions.
Three more GREAT new Titaniums also released are
Anakins Podracer, Darth Vaders Secret Apprentice's Ship & the Mon Calamari Cruiser, which I was very happy to see finally released.
I covered quite a few new action figures back in
part 58 but somehow missed showing one. I was VERY excited to find a
Commander Neyo on the pegs as he fills a whole in my "Order 66" collection that has been empty for some time now!
Besides Clones and Sith Lords, Boba Fett has slowly become a character I'm having fun collecting lately, and I couldn't help but add this fun little
Boba Fett Bobble Head to my ever expanding Fett collection.
Here's a brand new score: The new
Force Unleashed Battle Rancor which is a HUGE and well detailed piece...I so can NOT wait for this game to finally get here!
Ok, last but not least...from the "Just When You Think You've Seen Everything Department" comes this set of
Four Star Wars Mint Tins that feature
Darth Vader shaped mints inside!!!
For the Star Wars fan who has EVERYTHING...including bad breath!
To top off todays blog I bring you a brand new video!
I decided to make a retrospective in pictures of many of the major changes in the Maul Cantina over the past few years, so please enjoy
DJ Mauls Maul Cantina Video Tour Part 20: A Brief History Of Toys... ...there's some COOL music attached to this video so turn up the speakers, k?
Til next time teen gang! Stay frosty!
