DJ Mauls Ultimate Star Wars Toy Room Tour Part 61!
I am SO far behind in my toy tours at this point that it will take me forever to catch up...it has been one of the busiest summers ever for me, and most of it in a GOOD way. Perhaps I will blog all about it at a later time but for those of you who really just wanna see TOYS, well...let's get to it!

Let's kick this thing off with a bang and get right to one of the best new additions to the collection in awhile:

From Gentle Giant comes this amazing Darth Maul & Bloodfin statue!

This piece was a gift...yes I said a GIFT...to me from my super special friend M68!

I don't even know how to begin to express how wonderful this gift is or how truly special the giver is. Thank you 'shelle.

Another item came to me by way of a gift as well...or more accurately a PRIZE...fellow blogger Jedi Princess 77 sent me this super cute Mighty Muggs Chewbacca for my award winning Wubbulous World of Wookiees blog!

Thank you so much "Lil'cess," it was the perfect prize, and it neatly bookmarks the new Darth Maul Mighty Mugg I finally found after months of searching!

My fellow bloggers here aren't the only ones adding to my collection lately!

Many of my loyal readers here know I also have a series of video tours over at my You Tube profile, and I've developed a fan base there as well!

I was contacted awhile back by a guy who goes by Jawa Trader 1980 at You Tube (check out his videos when you get some time!) who wanted to DONATE an item to MY collection!

He sent me this beautiful Slave 1 Hallmark Ornament that is simply a great piece, very well detailed and quite HEAVY for its size!

As an added bonus, he even threw in these cool little Action Fleet items!

The little heads open up to reveal tiny figs and scenes inside! How cool!

I don't know that he even reads my blogs here but just in case...THANK YOU DUDE! That was truly awesome of you!

I have yet ANOTHER blogger to thank, and while these items weren't gifts I still owe my buddy Green And White Jedi for scoring these next few items for me.

As you may or may not know, he spent some time in Japan this summer, and while there managed to pick up one of their exclusive R2 Shampoo Bottles for me!

I had several colors to choose from but went with Green and White of course, in honor of the friend who scored it for me!

He also scored a few more of the way cool Star Wars Pepsi Caps for me by request! I so wish they did these things here in the US!

And ok, yes, I DID get a GIFT in his package as well, and it's an amazing one:

A vintage 1977 Japanese Star Wars Theater Program!

It's a little worn around the edges but still solid and glossy, with some beautiful pictures inside and of course it's all written in Japanese!

This is yet another TRULY special addition to my collection! Domo arigato my friend!

Continuing with toys from around the globe...from my local comic shop & collectibles store comes a truly cool find:

A full set of the 1997 Australian KFC Star Wars Fast Food Toys !

These were released at the time of the Special Editions and were NEVER available here in the States! I had all the American fast food promo toys already and these are a great addition to that collection!

While there I also scored this 1981 Wampa figure that was a tad dirty and is a bit scuffed up and discolored, but for a dollar I took him home, cleaned him up with some soap and water and he now has a happy home among my other vintage figs!

Things have been a tad slow in the NEW toys department so I've been shopping around on eBay as well and got a GREAT deal on these next two items:

The Clone Trooper Unleashed figures came as a plain white version and a red marked variant....I got both of these from the same seller at a very nice price.

The last item for this tour comes not from a blogger, a store or from eBay but from a friend of the family.

She called me out of the blue one day; seems she had this brand unopened, just like new R2 D2 Telephone laying around her house and she wanted to sell it, and her daughter told her of course to call ME since she knew I collected!

This came out around the time of Ep1. and yes, it's a fully functional, working telephone!

When I get the chance I will do a video clip on this piece; when you get a call the dome spins, his "eye" lights up and of course he beeps, chirps and whistles in authentic R2 sound effects!

Yes, of COURSE I have it hooked up and working!

That's going to wind things down for now; I'm hoping things will be settling down around here soon enough to let me blog more and catch up with all the rest of you as well. I always miss my friends when I'm not around.

Thanks as always for tagging along! See you next time!

EDIT: I moved all the pics to another site to host so hopefully this has resolved the issues I had when I first posted this and you are now actually SEEING the pictures!
