DJ Mauls Ultimate Star Wars Toy Room Tour Part 67!
It's funny that this will be the second toy tour blog in a row to start off with items sent to me by Jedi Melinda Wolf, but then again, it's not truly a surprise to any of us who know her, is it?

For the holidays, Melinda sent me some fantastic items, the most special and unique of which is this hand sewn Darth Vader Blanket! ...it's just the thing for curling up on the couch with on a cold winters evening.

Along with that came two other GREAT items: from Celebration Japan comes this cool, cute little Darth Maul Bear Brick which I have since opened, and placed on my Darth Maul shelf of course.

Also, out of all the Clonetroopers & Stormtroopers I have, Melinda somehow managed to find one that I did NOT have yet, this awesomely amazing Spacetrooper from the EU series of figs back in the late 90s!

Melinda, I thank you yet again for your kindness and generosity.

OK, I HAVE bought a few things MYSELF recently, so let's take a look at some of the more fun items to become part of the collection.

FINALLY, after all this time, Funko has released a Darth Maul Bobble Head!

I do not collect all of these, but I had to get this one and open him for my Maul shelf!

I also found this limited edition Commander Gree Bobble Head at my fave collectibles store, and I have since opened him as well! I think the paint job on him looks really great.

I keep saying I'm not buying any more Mighty Muggs, then along comes this newly repainted shirtless Darth Maul Mighty Mugg to prove me wrong yet again!

Lastly, I recently broke down and ordered the entire set of MacDonalds Clone Wars Toys from eBay because I simply did not have the time to chase down a complete set last summer and it was easier and actually VERY cheap to just wait and buy the whole set online instead.

Along with adding new items, I am constantly moving and rearranging the old stuff for better spacing and better display ideas.

Recently, I decided it was time to make some major changes to the far right wall by my desk.

As you can see, all I had there up until now was several autographed pictures, and some award trophy plaques from work.

As proud as I am of those awards, I decided I needed to find a new home for them and redo that entire wall.

So I took everything down and started the wall from scratch...added some new shelves, reorganized the autographed pictures, and moved several items from their original locations to the new shelves.

Here you can see the final results.

For the longer shelf, I pulled out some of the larger items I had placed on other shelves that just were not properly displayed where they were and look MUCH better out in the open where they are more easily seen.

The pegs on the new shelf even gave me a place to finally hang my hats!

I had actually taken this shelf OUT of the room awhile back as I'd replaced it with something else but once I redid this wall I decided to use it again for a few items, including this nice little mini-tribute to my favorite blue skinned Jedi.

I also pulled out my two cardboard standees from their original locations as they were getting buried behind other things and could barely be seen, and look much better relocated to this wall now.

By adding these shelves and shifting this stuff around, it's also freed up space on OTHER shelves which have allowed me to get more creative in my displays.

For instance, I now have one shelf dedicated entirely to the Bounty Hunters of Star Wars, ...

Another, featuring General Grievous...

One featuring Chewbacca ...

And even one dedicated to the hero of the OT, Luke Skywalker.

I've also moved my Anakin VS Obi-Wan display to a newer shelf, and expanded my R2-D2 and C-3PO displays.

"Always in motion, is the collection" LOL.

To wind this tour down I leave you with the latest video installment of the tour at You Tube.

Thanks as always for tagging along, see you next time!

LOVE the General Grievous shelf, and the little crawl you had going through the video to say you had featured that BMF shelf before cracked me up!

Awesome as always!

I love that bobble head, deej! It's soooo cool (like you :))!!!

I think you know this about me, but I'm going to say it anyway (what this says about my personality...well, I'll just leave that up in the air for now... :^O) - the goofier looking the item, the more I like it! :D The bobble heads, mms, galactic heroes, mcd toys. . .I love them!!! They speak to me (or the silly, warped side of me, anyway ;)). When the mcd toys came out, I decided I was going to pass on them, but, like you, I gave in and got a set off ebay. Mine aren't nicely on display like yours, but it's nice to have them. :)

I left you a comment over on youtube, so I won't repeat what I said there - except AWESOME, deej! :D

MTFBWY :)

Quite honestly, I do NOT understand how I possibly could have failed to mention how much I enjoyed your Luke :x shelf. I am quite impressed with all of your theme :) shelves, but you know how partial I am to that fabulous farmboy :x!

Aint that blanket just the greatest thing in the world? I use it every night -- who knew Vader could be so cuddly?

And wow, a shirtless Maul Mighty-Mugg... I think I've seen it all now.

Awesome additions as always!

How much did it cost you for the whole set of McDonald's happy meal toys from eBay? I actually purchased every single one at the store. You can say I became... obsessed with completing the whole collection and those cheeseburgers. Mmmmm... I know it wasn't a healthy month for me. :p
