It appears my
last blog fooled quite a few of you into thinking I had given up collecting, but of course nothing could be further from the truth!
I wasn't joking that things in my life have been....well, interesting the past few months, and yes it has taken me away from blogging as often as I used to.
So let's catch up a bit shall we?
Let's start this one by thanking some special friends for some special gifts.
Our resident saint Melinda has sent me several gift packages over the last few months, including this beautiful
Tin Lunch Box with a special
surprise inside!
More recently I JUST received this
Clone Helmet Candy Basket that Melinda was kind enough to fill with
some tasty goodies! Thanks Melinda, as always...you rock!
Our favorite resident cartoonist Nob01 also recently sent me some
cool gifts including a piece of his unique
original art which I have since
hung up in the toy room, and also this amazingly cool pair of
socks that look a LOT like a certain Sith that I tend to favor...
Nobby...you rock too dude, thank you!
Ok, I HAVE bought a few items on my own LOL.
I have been wanting this item for awhile now, and finally found one on eBay for a decent price and had the cash on hand at the moment, so I went for it, and scored this beautiful
Pewter Millennium Falcon from the
Franklin Mint Collection.
This
beautifully designed piece came out several years ago, and comes with some fine
gold detailing and has made a wonderful
addition to my
Millennium Falcon Shelf.
I also recently purchased the new large scaled
Darth Maul figure that just came out, and it's a nice piece. The only thing I don't like on it is the lightsaber, which doesn't seem to want to stay attached properly, but otherwise it's a great piece.
Slightly less expensive but just as nicely detailed is this cool new
vinyl Darth Vader bank that I found at my local comic shop on a tip from my buddy "Megatrends."
While not a HUGE fan of the Mighty Muggs line, I just HAD to get the lastest version of
Darth Vader that comes with a removable helmet and
reversible head for the Burned Anakin reveal!
Last item on this tour is an item I rescued from being tossed into the dumpster while helping my coworkers move some stuff from the office: a vintage
1980 Empire Strikes Back Sketchbook which is a first edition and in EXCELLENT condition!
To close this chapter I present yet another
Video Clip that features lots and LOTS of tee shirts and other clothing items. Enjoy!
Hopefully it wont be as long and far between blogs for me from now on, I truly do miss you guys and miss all the fun I always have here!
Back again soon, promise!
PS: I agree with all who have said they want the blogs UPDATED! Im having a tough time finding pics to match my blogs anymore, sheesh...
