We're getting through all the SW movies today for the big party.
Anakin sure was off his game at the end of Episode III --
1. He breached security by telling Padme where he was going, and
2. He didn't sense Obi-Wan on the spacecraft.
The Jedi may have been blinded by arrogance, but Anakin's rage and power-lust led him to make a few mistakes, too. In some ways, Vader getting burnt up and sent into his suit was the beginning of the end for the Sith. The inward-looking emotional orgy (no restraint) unravelled the order. We see Palps starting to get too over-confident, too.
Back to work.
