Help Me Obi Wan Kenobi

as most of you know, i am an avid fan fiction writer, though most of my stories never make it past a rough draft(either because i found something i didnt like or because my story conflicts with some new added info in the Expanded Universe). i had a very detailed story that was about one hundred pages long(micrsoft word), but my computer crashed and we had to redo everything. so now, with most of my story missing, i am requesting help from my fellow Star Wars fans. i need ideas, names that i may use, vehicles(with descriptions) and starships and if any of you would like be included in my story just say so. ill give you a basic plot summary. once again Corellia is causing trouble by seceeding from the New Republic(keep in mind this story is set about 2-5000 years after the Legacy comics) with many systems following their lead, they create the New CIS but don't use droid armies just yet. a war breaks out between two factions in which the Jedi once again are placed in command of legions of New Republic troopers.

Well... while plot isn't my strong point (you should see the tangent sub-plots I end up going off on), I can prolly offer up a few characters. I need to rewrite their bios as they're some of my RPing characters, but they include some Jedi, and unless you're picky on what species they are, they could prolly work for your story.

Also, and this helps me alot when writing... Do you have the ending planned out? If not, that should prolly be one of the first things you do. Plan out the ending of the story, that way you'll know where to go with it and not end up on some wild tangent.

I think you should include a Sith plot, and the bad guy should be named Darth (Lord) H'ar-ald, a Sith Lord. I don't think the Sith should have a power position in the New Republic. But they could be orchestrating a war to draw the Jedi's attention away from a new Weapon of mass destruction they are creating with ancient Sith technology. The weapon would somehow use the force to inflict huge damage.

Uh... No offense, but I think you need a new plot. Or tweak it a bit. I'm all for fanfic, but Corellia has split away twice already, and we have way too many "someone breaks away from the republic and forms new government run by Sith Lord/Bad Guy that then fails" stories. I know this isn't what you asked for, but I think you should change your story somehow. Maybe start with that plot, buy add in an element that hasn't been seen in star wars before. As for a character, how about the protagonist is NOT a force sensitive.

Perhaps detail some economic issues that're a result of the break-away or are mebbe leading to the break-away? Getting into the economic inpact and such is something I and quite possibly others might find interesting. This isn't really explored much in fanfics, and it would make your story unique.

As for characters, I have a character I used for a Starfox fanfic that never got off the ground. He's a military strategist named Adrik Hedeon and he's all yours if you want him.
