There's something familiar about this place...What??
Since Christmas I have been basking in the fact that I now own all six of the wonderfully done Star Wars Episodes on DVD. Every couple of days I'll pop a random episode in the DVD player and relive the SW experience all over again.

Last night I was watching Episode V and I was reminded of a topic on which I have wanted to blog for a long time. Scene: Luke sitting on Dagobah, taking in the "slimy mud hole", and he says to R2...."Still...there's something familiar about this place". First off, WHAT? WHY? I have pondered this fact for a long time, and only until recently have I come to a speculation that makes any sense...

Later in The Empire Strikes Back Yoda says "For a long time, this one, have I watched..." Now seeing as I don't believe that Yoda had installed secret spy cams inside Luke's hut on Tatooine, Yoda had to be connecting with Luke through the Force. During these "watching sessions", perhaps as Yoda connected with the young Skywalker, Luke too was connected to the source of his spiritual peeping-tom, and in a sense, giving him glimpses of Dagobah which he simply casts aside as a dream. Then, after landing on Dagobah, he recognized the swamp world, but simply like a moment of deja-veux (seriously...I have no idea how to spell that!).

Now, that is simply my theory and I know that my knowledge of the Force lacks that of mastery, so please, feel free to post your own insights....
