If I am on the same page as most of you, you are always wondering what it would be like to use the Force and use a Light Saber. Here is a tip that makes me smirk every time I do it.

When you are walking into a supermarket, the mall or any other place that has automatic doors, discretely wave your hand in front of the door (like a Jedi waving his hand to execute the Jedi mind trick, or like Obi-Wan does on Kamino in AOTC).

Do this hand wave approximately a second before the door opens, and it kind of makes you feel like you just used the Force to open the door.

This is a habit I picked up a couple of years ago and I do it every single time I walk through an automatic door. My girlfriend laughs at me and shakes her head every time I do it, but I don't care, I think it's cool.

Be careful, timing is everything. If you wave your hand too soon, the door does not open for a few seconds and you look like a chump. Wave it too late, and you look like an idiot. If executed with perfect timing, it legitimately looks like you used the Force to open the door.

Be discrete, or else un-Star Wars-educated people will think you are crazy. But if a fellow finatic notices, he will probably laugh and try it himself.
