Star Wars Multimedia: Making of Revenge of the Sith
This is the beginning of a series reviewing a series of books from ROTS. Take with a grain of salt.:)

This book does cost a bit (around 35 bucks for hard cover, 21 for soft), but I would say it is a good buy. It contains large, full-color pictures and nice glossy pages. But the real gems lay in the text. In a very good "day-to-day" format, you are shown, from the very beginning, ROTS in the making. In fact, it starts back in 2002 in Tunsia, when the Obi-Wan dropping off Luke scene is filmed. It then jumps to 2003 and development of the script. What I did not know before this was the great changes in the script that occurred. Han Solo as a child was in there, Palpatine being Anakin's father, General Grievous being a demon child....yes, there were some major changes.
While reading the book, one really feels like they have been with George and his team through the entire process. The actual "filming" section is great, showing which scenes were shot on which days. I found it funny that one of Mace Windu's first scenes filmed was his death scene. That would be odd.
One drawback to the book is that it ends in October, so the book could be published on time. However, I believe the rest of the text is available somewhere on the net, including RandomHouse.com. I would definitely recommend it if you have the money.
