A lot has happened since the last time I had a Quest to 100 update. I have read more than 10 books since then, so I have a lot to cover. The Legacy of the Force series made up the majority of my recent reading, so I'll start there.
Part I: Legacy of the Force
I kicked off 2009 with the Legacy of the Force series, and let me tell you, it was awesome! It was great to see all these characters, (I haven't read any NJO at all). I had read about Jacen, Jaina, and Ben a bit on Wookieepedia whenever I would come across something, but I really didn't know much about them. So this was my chance to get into the characters of this later era in the Star Wars timeline. The whole thing with Corellia at war with the GA was interesting because Han is Corellian with Jedi family and the Jedi are with the GA. And Luke is his good 'ol buddy so the whole thing causes a lot of tension. Very interesting as the story progresses further. I don't wanna ramble on and on so I'll end this topic with this: read Legacy of the Force, it is awesome! Invincible was my 100th book read! A fitting name for that achievement, wouldn't you say?
Part II: The Clone Wars: Wild Space
I read Wild Space in the middle of the Legacy of the Force because I had to order Sacrifice, Inferno, and Fury. Also, this allowed Invincible to the 100th book read, so the timing was pretty good. Now, Wild Space was a very interesting book. It is a Clone Wars novel, yet there is really no Clone War battles going on. It takes place during the same time as the "Downfall of a Droid" and "Duel of the Droids" Clone Wars episodes. It follows Obi-Wan on his little trip with Senator Organa. They are led along by Organa's mysterious contact and end up in a pretty awesome/crazy/great-to-read situation. This is what I have to say: this was also an amazing book and I can't wait for more Clone Wars novels.
Part III: Fate of the Jedi: Outcast
That's right, Fate of the Jedi has started, and started very strongly at that. It was pretty flippin awesome. It would be highly advised to read the Legacy series first because then you will have a better understanding of what's going on. Also, the Millennium Falcon novel will clear up some details, I haven't read it but events are mentioned from there. So now I really, really wanna read it. Since its a very recent release, I don't wanna give anything away, so I'll just leave my little review at that. And Omen is just a few months away, so go buy your copy of Outcast today!
Well that's it for the book portion of this blog, on to more interesting and interactive topics!
Part IV: Polls
Do you plan on seeing Fanboys?
A. I've already seen it.
B. I really want to but it isn't in a city close to me.
C. Yes, when it comes out on DVD.
D. No way.
If you have seen Fanboys, on a scale of one to ten, how would you rate it? Ten being the highest. Just a general rating, giving it an 8 doesn't necessarily make it Star Wars film status, just a general "Yes it was a good movie, I'd give it a 7." or "No it wasn't that good, go see Taken instead."
What did you think of Season I of The Clone Wars?
A. It was incredible and I can't wait for Season II.
B. It was above my expectations but not amazing.
C. It was okay.
D. It didn't meet my expectations.
E. I didn't like it at all.
Also, has anyone read the Rebel Force books? I was considering buying them. They are short reads and I enjoyed the Jedi Apprentice, Jedi Quest, and Last of the Jedi series so I just thought maybe I'd pick em up one day.
Well, that's all for now. Let me know your answers to the questions above!
Oh and Kyle, your blog about your collection has inspired me to do the same. Ya know, if that's ok with you.

May the Force be with you all!
