Finding time
As you may have noticed, books have been a big theme in my blogs. Well, here's a list of books I've read this summer:

Patterns of Force
Omen

And that's pretty much it. Shocking I know! Not to worry, I have two weeks till I start school again and I plan of reading the Hand of Thrawn Duology by then. And if I can manage it, I'll squeeze in X-Wing #6: Iron Fist. Still, I must say I am disappointed with the list of books above, if you can even call it a list...

But here's the thing. This may not sound like it makes much sense but, I find it easier to read books during the school year. During the summer, the schedule is so chaotic. One day I'm bored then the next I'm gone all day from 8 in the morning till past midnight. Overall, the question isn't about time, but about scheduling. Know if you knew me, you'd know that I like when things are planned out. My desk may not seem organized, but to me, I know where everything is. Then every once in a while I'll reorganize it so that it is neat and tidy. But, thank you entropy, it gets all messed up again over time and the process starts over.

Where was I going with this? Right, scheduling. As I said, during the summer, the schedule is chaotic. The school year on the other hand is scheduled and I love that about it. I may not like that I have to go to school but I like that everything is basically planned out. I read practically every night when I go to bed during the school year. It's also a great thing to do when taking a break from homework. During the summer I stay up till I feel like going to bed, and if I feel like going to bed, there's no way I'm gonna get through more than a chapter before I start falling asleep. During the 09 half of last school year, I read 14 Star Wars books, and most of those were in January when I read Legacy of the Force. There was actually a few big gaps of no reading in there because my mom wouldn't let my read anymore till I read my books for school.

So for those of you out there that love the EU and read books all the time, when do you usually find time during the day to read?

Feels good to write a blog again. Its been a month already since my last one. Once again, chaotic scheduling strikes! Hopefully with the return of school, the return of regular blogging will happen as well.

May the Force be with you all!
