Whew! I've been gone too long from blogging. Anyway, Episode V is off my "To Do" list!

Today, I'm going to tell about my awsome experience on the marathon and talk about some of the stuff that was in the SW documentrary "Empire of Dreams".

A: Did you know that only George Lucas and Irvin Kershner knew that Darth Vader was Luke's father during the shooting of SW V, until Irwin took Mark Hamil aside and said "You do know that Vader is your father, right?" Mark must've given him the weirdest look! Because the script had a decoy page in it that called for Vader to say "No! Obi-Wan killed your father!" This was done to make sure that any rumors based on the script wouldn't give away this most famous of lines.

B: After reading "Heir to the Empire", I now know that the dark side presence in the cave on Dagobah was from a Dark Jedi who had fled to Dagobah and Yoda fought him there and killed him. Some have said this was Mace, having gone bad after surviving the fall from Palpatine's office. See my previous blog:

C: Did you notice that Darth's right arm just hangs limp at his side after Luke catches him on the shoulder with his light saber? He never raises it throughout the rest of the scene. Nice!

D: I wonder why Boba came back and shot at Luke in Cloud City?

E: The ladder that Luke uses to climb into his X-wing when he leaves Dagobah -- where did it come from, and where did it go after he climbed into the cockpit?
