Amazing things you can do in SW's Battlefront

Since I've played Battlefront millions of times, I've had some time to spend doing fun/original/crazy things. Such as placing mines on my speeder bike and ramming enemies, or riding on the head of an AT-AT.

I think that mines can do a ton of things, like placing them on both feet of an AT-ST. But I suppose you could do that with any tank. Anyway, although you can take damage with this, the mines won't explode unless they touch the enemy -- I can vouch for that. If they do blow without touching opposing forces, may I be slowly digested for 1000 years in the belly of a scarlacc.

As for the suicide move with the speeder bike, just attach 4 mines to your local speeder, jump on and ram the nearest AT-ST.

PS -- I like to jump off a split second before impact.

date Posted: Nov 26, 2007 6:51 AM Awesome. Yeah i've ridden on an AT-AT head before. What u do is get a hero than jump up and start wacking on its neck. Ya, good times.

Not this helps me win, but I like to (on Bespin, Platforms) take a ship that requires two pilots and take off alone. I fly up on top of one of the CPs with a roof and switch to the secondary position and then jump out. I then watch the ship swirl around and around and crash. I really enjoy that for some reason.

My kills record is 123 kills on Geonosis. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

That thing you said about mines on a speeder bike reminds me alot of stuff you can do in Mercenaries. (Which is also a Lucas Arts game, and an excellent one at that.) It's really fun in that game to load a vehicle up with C4s and send it slamming into a roadblock. I've never tried that strategy in Battlefront before, though, so I'd be interested in trying it.

(By the way, is it Battlefront I or Battlefront II?)

date Posted: Dec 03, 2007 8:07 PM Yeah, in battlefront two you can drop a detpack onto a speeder bike, then ride into a group of people, hop off and detonate. It works okay, but it's really fun.

I just came back to read this and I've got something you have to try. Alright, on Hoth, get in the snowspeeder and ask a computer player to get in the passenger seat. (Note: This is even funner if you've got a second human player watching from inside the base where all the ship respawn at) So, while your second human player is watching out the cave, fly up super high and tell your computer passenger to get out. He will do so and fall to his demise. If he abandons ship at the right moment, the second human player will have an excellent view of his guts getting splatted about. (cont.)
