There has been some discussion that Quinlan's story is too similar to Anakin's. My honest opinion is that it is what Anakin's story could have been. I mean think about it!
Quinlan loved Khaleen, Anakin loved Padme.
Quinlan was tempted much the same as Anakin in that they bolth had a darkness in them.

But although Vos seemed to have gone to the dark side, he showed that he was truly a servant of the light by defeating Sorra and Scorr.

In the end Vos survived Order 66 and had a child (Korto Vos) that would be devoted to the light.

Quinlan showed what would happen if one resisted the dark side and raised a child for the next generation of Jedi. I would recommend the Clone Wars graphic novels for great storylines.

All in all, I believe that when Anakin made the final decision to return to the light, he redeemed himself. Quinlan shows what could have happened had Anakin chosen the light.
