Greeting and welcome to Views and Reviews of the Star Wars Expanded Universe. I'll be using this blog to offer opinions on news from the EU and also post my reviews of EU Literature.

What I'm going to do here is go story by story through the Star Wars Lit universe, posting summaries of the story, some key points and characters and opinons of the stories and also to read other opinions of the stories and also to provide a way for other people to jump into the Lit world and find out what stories are out there and what they might be intrested in reading.

But first and foremost, a few thanks before I get rolling.

First, thanks to George Lucas for creating the whole universe in the first place.

Thanks to the authors and artists who have contributed to Star Wars over the years.

A VERY big thanks to Dan Wallace, Christopher McElroy and Nathan Butler for keeping all this stuff straight and to keep my headaches to the bare minimum. You guys are my Bible.

To Kristina, a better friend one could not have. Thanks for a night in the park, a memorable wait in a line and for everything in between..

And finally, all my love and thanks to my mother who carried me into A New Hope some 25 years ago, cleaned up and kept every SINGLE Star Wars toy I had over the years and has always been supportive of my hobby and my love. Thank you and I love you, Mom.

I will be going in order from the Tales of the Jedi era to the New Jedi Order. HOWEVER, not EVERY SW story will be here. Some will be omitted either because I have not read the story or frankly because I don't think they fit in the scheme of things. I apologize in advance for this, but this is only A take on things, not THE take.

For the record: no Underworld, no Splinter of the Mind's Eye. no Son of Palpatine, no Galaxy of Fear.

I'll be starting with some posts I made on an old website and have salvaged. Hope they are enjoyed.
