Starwars:Legacy Of The Force.
Settings

Slave I,
Falcon, most of the Senatepart of the Galactic City, Lumyia's SafeHouse, Jacen/The Skywalkers/Solo's Apartments.
Characters
Jacen Solo: A strong force user. He has helped in many Battles since the Vong War, Including The Swarm War Crisis. He has now under the training of Lumyia, a Dark Jedi who was trained by Darth Vader. He is also a Colonel in the GAG, and a unofficial Master to Ben. He has turned to darkness... Karen Traviss really wrote Jacens transition to the darkness very well. Good action, and great lines.
Ben Skywalker: Tired of being thought at as a adult, and kid at the same time, he is only trust Jacen Solo, his Master, and that trust is shaken. Ben is 13 standard years old, and is also a very strong force user. He helps Jacen and the GA Guard, and is trouled by terrorist, death, and his Masters easyness to kill in almost cold-blood. He doesnt always agree with his Father, and that makes him want to be a kid, almost invisable, again. Karen Traviss makes it easy to understand this boy, considering I'm not much older, I understand his desire to be an adult and kid. He has great lines, and also provides very emotition feelings.
Mirta Gev: The daughter of a Mandalorian, and Bounty Hunter Ailyn Fett, she is a hard-core Mandalorian. Wearing Mandalorian armour, black hair, and has no helmet. She is a rough, tough, and proud younf girl. She know;s the location of two things Boba Fett wants, and needs sheis very pivotal to him.
Boba Fett: Being Mandalore, Leader of some of the most feared men and women is hard enough. Not knowing the tounge, our your Daguhter and Grandaughter is harder. Boba Fett is dying: One person knows how to save him: Taun We. When he finds her, she tells him that she doesnt know how to help him on Ko Sai, an deflector to Dooku during the Clone Wars does. When he crosses paths with his yet to be known grandaughter, she tells him of a gloved clone, a man who should be 140 years old but isnt. He knows he need to find the clone for Ko's data, but he also wants to find his daughter,by finding Solo....again. Karen writes his feelings very, very, well. We feel his pain, sorrow and sense of lost likes it's our own. He has wonderful lines, and great action.
Luke Skywalker: Grandmaster Of The Jedi, Councilmen, and Father. Luke has shifted his feelings towards Corellia, Jacen, and his wife. He feels that his son shouldn't be taught such rash things by Jacen, whom he feels he is going to the dark-side. He can't convince Mara or Ben, or Jacen to see his way, and Ben becomes more and more afraid of his father. Luke is drowned by self-doubt. Karen writes the change of postion of his newphew, and the War, wondefully. Some feel Luke is a coward towards Jacen, but I feel he knows what he is doing for the safty of him, his Wife and Ben.
Mara Jade Skywalker: Wife, Mom,and Jedi Master. Mara feels that Luke is wrong about Jacen, and he is having a good impact on Ben despite him going to the darkside. Mara feels that Ben should be still taught by Jacen, and disagrees with her Husband. She has a strong characterist shift, one that is very noticale thanks to Miss. Traviss. She is, like all the others, well written, and nicely done.
Jania,Leia and Han Solo: Leia,Han, Jania and Jacen have a bounty on thier heads. Han and Leia try to stop Sal-Solo, and wind up killing him, and working with Fett. They don't agree with what Jacen is doing, and shun him. Jania is completly shut off by Jacen, to the point where he breaks her heart, which he may again....... These characters were very, very well written and Jania was a little weak, but, her character will get stronger, book by book.
Chapters
All were good length, very detailed, and well written. Each had a Journel Or Datapad entry on top to really tell details.[ Karen, I forgot what you called it].
Conclusion
This is a great, well written, defined book. It has aspects of Battle, The Force, and Human Emotions. It was very detailed, and very easy to follow from page one, to 380. Great Job Miss.Traviss, Karen, and Thanks. I look forward to all you next books.
