A few isolated, outspoken naysayers said that it couldn't be done. Many, many more said that it just shouldn't be done, almost invariably for the sake of the children. Nevertheless, here it is, resplendent in all of its radiance and glory - a shining beacon of peace, shared humanity and the extent of my desire to avoid real work. I should warn you that looking directly at it for more than ten seconds will cause visual distortion and eventual loss of sight. Maybe I should have mentioned that before. Well, what do you need your vision for anyway? Except for your job, hobbies and family life? Hmm? That's the spirit!

You may be asking me, "Why a star?" This is pointless, as I am not even in the same country as you, and therefore cannot possibly hear your plea for enlightenment. However, since I have utilised my strange and alarming powers of foresight to anticipate this query, I might as well tell you the reason: ...OK, there isn't a reason. It could be because a star is a bit seasonal without being explicitly religious in nature. Equally, it could be from a black flag an' a risin' Sun loomin' over Los Angeles - FIGHT THA POWAH!!!1!1! You decide.

I still have no idea what it is, but it all sounded terribly exciting, which is why I suppressed my natural avolition to make this mosaic for you, at the cost of terrible psychological damage to myself.
