There's Not Enough Fanboy Squee Going On...
Okay, so where to start? Well first off I searched for a decent picture to stick up here, and I decided against the usual Leia or Padme ones, simply because that would be too obvious. So here's a couple of chicks from Jabba's palace, namely Lyn Me, Greeata and Rystall. Now I'm not going to list every hottie in Star Wars, because that's probably been done already (and if not, it should be). No, I'm just going to drone on about the merits of some (including Twi'Lek yum yums), and perhaps comment on the complications of having some kind of fanboy squee infatuation over Khaleen Hentz, who has only ever been immortalised in ink and on paper. Essentially, she's a comic character from the EU.

Is that healthy?

Probably not. But I guess if you can have the hots for Jessica Rabbit (come on guys, who didn't?), then you can have likewise for Khaleen.

Going back to the pic above, there's also Oola, who met her untimely death because she rejected Jabba, who obviously saw the benefits of having a pretty Twi'Lek sat beside him.

It's not fair is it? All the hotties are getting killed. Aayla Secura R.I.P. has to be the favourite Twi'Lek of all time. I expect that EU fans are infatuated even more, as she was often portrayed in the comics even hotter than she was in real life. No offence to Amy Allen, who is really hot looking and if I were to give her marks out of ten, I'd definitely give her one.

Not killed of course, was Ayy Vida who looks like she's about to start pole dancing, or lap dancing, and I have absolutely no problem with that idea.

While I'm on the subject of lap dancing, all you guys who have not yet seen the movie Closer, should do so. It's worth it just to see Padme lap dancing, a worthwhile treat for any red-blooded male.

Oh to be a customer in the Outlander nightclub.

Where else is a good spot for pulling girls in the galaxy?

How about Zeltross?

Not a planet ever explored in the movies, and as far as I am aware, not done so in the EU. However, there have been Zeltrons appearing in the comics since the 1980s, largely due in part to Dani, who had a bit of a squee thing going on with Luke. Fair enough. The species are humanoid, the only difference is their skin colour, which is red, and they are basically very very promiscuous in relations with the opposite gender. Another Zeltron who showed up recently during the Clone Wars was Lyshaa, and she used her talents to hop into bed at the first opportunity.

*Sigh* The spoils of war.

But what of bald, pale skinned, kickazz wimmin?

Like Ripley in Alien 3, there is something attractive about a lady that is also hard-as-nails. Asajj Ventress does something for me, I have to say. Again, not seen on the big screen, and that's a crying shame. My one hope is that seeing as though she survived the Clone Wars, she may pop up again someday, maybe in the TV series.

In a similar style to Ventress is Aurra Sing, who actually doesn't quite have the same effect on me, although the actress who portrayed her, Michonne Bourriague, is very lovely indeed.

Again, she's a survivor, and may crop up again later in the GFFA. Who knows?

Well, seeing as though I pleased the Rodian community by mentioning Greeata, I've proved I'm not xenophobic. Similarly, I'm quite in the mood for mentioning another non-human, namely Diva Shaliqua, who is a Theelin half-breed, and has something about her that I, and others, should be attracted to.

I guess it's the rough look. She looks like she could handle any man. I must be attracted to the lower class of bird...Khaleen, Diva, Lyshaa, Lyn Me...are there any upper class ladies worth looking at?

Well obviously there are the big three - Leia, Padme and perhaps Mara Jade (the latter dragged into the upper echelons of society by her husband Luke), but they always get a mention...so I'm looking for someone obscure...like Sola Naberrie. The Naberrie family are all able to boast their good looks, but Sola is v nice. Conservative, pretty and like her sister, quite clever. She clearly needs to date a bit of rough. Any takers? I'd certainly like to bring her to down to my level.

Sticking with the Padme theme, Dorme would certainly get it. I wonder what handmaidens get upto when they're off duty? I know what I'd like to do. She's probably the best looking of them all, even the one played by Keira Knightly.

Well there you have a small selection of girls to get the pulses racing. I could blog all day about more, but I just thought I'd throw in some of my favourites.

There really are some pretty decent looking tottie in the Star Wars universe. And hey, if you want to have a fanboy crush on a comic character, it's fine, honestly. It's allowed.

Rogueish...out!

You're right, this is loong overdue! Well Done!

GL certainly went for beautifying the vast majority of female Aliens in the GFFA whilst leaving the Male Aliens just looking.. well.. Alien!

I'm not sure what to say about your fancy being tickled by someone with a black outline.. Live and let live! I suppose!?!

if I were to give her marks out of ten .. Classic! :D

For my money though, there's none better than Padme!

I have to agree, this is long overdue.

Like Ripley in Alien 3, .... Yeah, Asajj does something for me too, not sure why. Although, my inner fanboy squees more for other EU hotties like Bastila Shan or the new Legacy comic eye candy - Marasiah Fel and Darth Talon.

But I agree with Master Pickles; there's none better than Padme (which is why I watched Closer)

Plus has anyone noticed how risque the Coruscant Underground Bar was? I mean they had even what looked to be completely human girls walking around in what looks to be underwear! George really took a chance doing that in a PG film.

Still, times are changing. I'm even shocked with the content in PG-13 films of this day and age so who knows how far the creative gods and goddesses of the GFFA will take it...;)

Bravo....bravo, Rogueish!! You're right, the girls are not the only ones with the corner market on hottie squee!! I'm soooooooooooo glad to see this entry illuminating "the other side"!!! ;)
As a female, I do appreciate the feminine *hot* appeal of some of these characters you've mentioned...what girl would't want to BE Padme, or Aayla??? :)
.... May I also remind you of the strong, beautiful warrior women of Dathomir? If you've not read "The Courtship of Princess Leia," you should...Teneniel Djo was actually the first to "almost" steal Luke's heart (aside from his own sister of course...ewwww..). I wasn't going to comment, 'cause I don't wanna sound like the "bad guy", but "fanboy squee" seems to be the "path of the darkside" to becoming "creepy internet guy." Let me tell you why..

You see the lovely ladies around here, getting together to gush about Anakin, Obi-Wan, Han, etc (very little Luke, oddly...hmmm...). This is a phenomenon that can easily extend to real life. Regardless of age, you can find groups of women sitting, chatting softly and giggling like school girls.

Now, try and picture this with guys.......anything? Not really. Guys will point out a hot women, slap each other's back and say "man, she is HOT" and then move about their business. Guys just don't do that. Those who do may find themselves un-surrounded by guys, left alone with their computers....in the parents basement....

This doesn't mean we don't enjoy looking at hot women. And it CERTAINLY means we don't notice them....

Boy, I think Wampa hit home on commenting about this subject. He is right, when "us" girls squee about Anakin (Hayden) or any other SW guy, it really is only a normal girly thingy that we are doing.

I wasn't going to comment, 'cause I don't wanna sound like the "bad guy", but "fanboy squee" seems to be the "path of the darkside" to becoming "creepy internet guy."

Not pointed at you Rogueish, but again Wampa is right...There have been some "strange" encounters with this type of "creepy internet guy" activity on the internet lately. 60 Minutes and 20/20 have been giving a lot of attention to this very subject matter.

It is nice to see a guy's perspective on the "hotties of SW"...and to include women who are not the main characters. Like MO2 said...I can appreciate the "hottness" of the females in the saga because what girl/woman wouldn't want to be one of them (namely Leia, Padme', Aayla) ?

Again, like Mina said...not pointed at you or any guy here, but there have been quite a few "stories" about the "creepy internet guy" on the huge news shows (Dateline, 20/20, etc.).

No....it's a sad double-standard, but women can do things that men can't. Here's another example:

A pair of women, walking down the mall. Just for arguement, say their married. They're chatting, laughing, and they throw their arms around each others waist, fairly skipping, just being happy and friends. Real "Laverne and Shirley" moment, right?

Now.....picture the same scene, but with guys...............scared yet?

And the new deodorant commercial on tv....showing a hot chippy dancin' her bippy off....the tagline? "There's no such thing as a hot, sweaty, sexy dude."

Be careful when watching stuff like this on TV....scary sensationalized "news" gets better ratings than treating an issue honestly and fairly. Remember that there were stalkers before the Internet ever existed, and that we are still using telephones despite the fact that they can be handy for stalkers.

I object, SOB! There's a biiiiiig gap between attractive comic book characters and hentai. This sounds to me like a case of the comic book stigma. Are people who go to an art gallery that has pictures of beautiful women "perverts"? I think not. Why would it be more "perverted" to be turned on by a drawing than a photograph anyway? Aayla and all the Twi'lecks look way hotter in the comics. Darth Talon will certainly be a pretty big selling point to kick off the Legacy series.

Heck, I have a crush on the comic version of Aayla... but also Quinlan (except when drawn too hairy ;))

fanboy squee infatuation over Khaleen Hentz, who has only ever been immortalised in ink and on paper....Is that healthy?

Girls (Hi, yeah, that's me) have had things for comic book dudes and that's okay, it's not because we enjoy japanese "pron", it's because behind the well drawn facade there are ideas and depth. I've had a crush on V before it was a movie, and is it creepy I had a crush on him in the movie even though he had a mask on? I hope not.
