The Sith: Are they really that evil?
We all see the Sith as the classic epitomay of evil; the guys dressed in black, who kill who they please, and blow things up in a cool way, :D.

I would argue, however, that most Sith we have seen so far in the Star Wars saga are, in fact, not evil, but merely because they disagree with the Jedi that they are branded as evil.

That is like saying, in real life, that because the Middle East is against the American view of the world, that they are evil. Sure that is the case for people like Osama Bin laden, and all terrorists, what about the normal people, who just want to live their lives the way they want, and not have to conform to America, Australia, England, and the rest?

These, my friends, are the Sith of the real world. They do things opposed to what is viewed as "right" occasionally, but most of the time just want to see order and peace.

Even Darth Sidious, the most apparently "evil" Sith, just desired Galactic Peace, perhaps with him as ruler, but galactic Peace nonthe less. He wasn't like the Killiks or Yuuzhan Vong, who wanted eternal war, and even eliminated the Jedi, because he feared they would keep the war continuing.
