The Force flows through all of us.
Recently there has been some discussion between some of us on the nature of the Force and whether it was exclusive to the Jedi. Obi-wan and Yoda both make comments which lend to it not being an elite connection.

Midichlorians aside, (and if you believe in such things) ther are those in our own universe with abilities some would say are "unnatural". Psychics, telekinetics, healing, etc. are gifts for some but others can develop them by certain conditioning / training. Referencing the christian theology for instance. The Master said that all that he did we could do and the capacity for even more. So our own human potential is that we all live in varying degrees of mastery.

This gets me to my main thought. I think dispite his lack of faith, Han, our favorite smugggler, may have had some latent or low level abilities. Qui-gon while speaking to Anakin guesses that he had reflexes he never understood. "like he knew what was going to happen". Look at Han and his piloting skills, his instincts, and not to mention his "gamblers luck". One could chalk it up to just being head strong and a little bit crazy and took chances that so far worked out because of his luck, but I don't know. It could be the Force was working through him and pushing him along letting him know what his next move should be.Han was always able to get out of things that should have killed him or did things he shouldn't have been able to do at just the right moment. He just didn't realize this and would get in trouble sometimes when he let his own ego interfere with his decisions. Obi-wan even grinned when Han said no all powerful and mysterious force rules his destiny. He as student of Gui-gon was a follower of the will of the Force and perhaps new the truth and the irony of his proclamation.

This is just some of my musings since I can't truly speak for George's universe. Han has a lot of charm because he is more of an average guy. Or is he?
