Easter Star Wars Style
I'm sure I'm not the first to do this, and if I am not who cares anyway! Here are some examples of a couple of our beloved characters I cooked up for easter. Compliments of the 30th anniversary Star Wars egg decorating kit.

Twisted and scrambled by the dark side! Hard boiled in the firey pits of Mustafar. Thought to have dyed by his friend and Teacher Obi-wan. It's Darth Vader. Now more shell than man, He is one bad egg!

The droid R2D2, alone in the Tatooine wastelands, is suddenly surrounded by Jawas. He will soon be taken to the Lars Homestead where fate would luckily bring him to Luke Skywalker. Never knowing how close he came; had he not been bought, to being used in a game of droid toss at the Jawa company picnic.

Easter is a cold one this year so here is a a picture of Springtime in Colorado.

We had a bunny in our yard this morning. I showed it to my little girl and asked her if she thought it was the bunny that brought her Easter basket. She replied, yes and then went and retrieved her basket and held it up to the back door window and yelled out. "Thank you bunny for my basket!" I had no intention of perpetrating the myth of the Easter Bunny with her but when I saw the rabbit, I couldn't resist. It is so fun to screw with little kids minds.

Thanks Jammin J. I wanted to show without the helmet because last night it had vein looking markings that looked like burns. The egg was dyed an orangey pink. The markings unfortunately bled from condensation and no longer appeared.

The story behind that autograph is related in my first blog.

What part of Colorado, CJD00?

Very nice! Thanks for sharing your crafty-work. Where the heck did you get an egg sized Vader helmet? :)

It's cold and snowy here in the great white northeast too. I'm ready for winter to end.

Those are awesome!! I haven't ever made Easter eggs, as nobody in my family is artistic enough to even consider doing this, but those are amazing! Great work!

And it's very very cold here too. Usually we are in shorts (maybe) and t-shirts by this time of year - and we were not two weeks ago - and now we've got snow everywhere! It's ridiculous! I just want summer to come!! :_| ;)

MTFBWY, and Happy 30th Anniversary! (45 days!)

Hmmm, no comments on my bad puns yet.

Just go to Target and see if they still have any of the SW dye kits available JK . i had thought it was ending then we get this cold snap. Water resevoir wise it is a good thing to have this time of year and in this part of the country. It got up above freezing this afternoon and melted quickly. Still having some flurries though.

Hey Fan4YRS. It will be a story to tell her when she gets older.

I did the yoda last year as well JP77. I saw the DV helmet and had to have it. ..and post away.

No need for artistic abilities. If you want to make your own tradition. Get a kit, boil the eggs and get into making a mess. The heck with the all the other spoiled sports.

Happy 30th indeed. So long ago yet 1977 seems like yesterday to me. Though (45 days) means nothing to me since I am of the unattending.:(
