Part 4 of My Collection Blogs
Now as promised is the next installment of my collection series. This one will deal with various droids & the Jawas. I'll cut to the chase on this one.

First lets look at my favorite to collect, the astromech droids.
Various dome headed astromechs
More dome headed astromechs
Various cone headed astromechs
New & Vintage R5's
My R/C Astromechs
Imperial Astromechs
Vintage & New Gonk Droids
Vintage Death Star droid & a couple of protocol droids
Other Protocol Droids
New & vintage 4-Lom
Battle droids
Medical droids
All my Vintage droids together.[/url]
What is left of my Vintage Droid Factory Playset.
My Vintage cardboard Sandcrawler playset.
Vintage Cloak Jawa
Misc droids & jawas
Big green astromech droid form ANH (I loved it they brought this one to the line).
A newer purchase of Spider droid & 2-1B.

The next two pictures are not Star Wars toys but in those years they became just as much a part of my Star Wars play universe as any real SW item.

The first photo is of Robot from Lost in Space, Maxamilian from Black Hole, Twiki from Buck Rodgers (who after this photo was taken crumbled to pieces in my hand), and Questar (sans jet pack) from the Metal Men line of toys by Zylmex.
Looking up from there we have Mazinga(Mazinger) from the second year of the Shogun Warriors line of toys.

These have been great collection blogs, Gold5 - I've enjoyed all the clickys and the reminiscing!!

Medical droids
Of course, this section would have to be my favorite :)

Maxamilian from Black Hole
Oh my word - I LOVED the Black Hole figures - in my opinion they were some of the greatest 3 3/4 figures ever made - the attention to detail and features on them were amazing!! The sentry guards came with the wrong guns though - so I spent a lot of time making the funky 'u-bend' guns for them :D

more great stuff! Funny how we both seem to collect a lot of the same stuff, although frankly I think you have my figures collection beat; I have a pretty good assortment of droids but not nearly that many!

That vintage jawa cardboard set is awesome! Looks to be in good shape still!

I also REALLY like that fact that most of your figs are opened....carded figs are ok but you cant appreciate the cool details unless you open them IMO.

The med droid accessory of Luke in the bacta tank is one of my favorites though I know you were talking of the droid itself. I also like the detail on it as well.

I didn't get any others of the Black Hole Figures. I always wished his arms moved.

The two droid 6 pack sets helped bulk up the number though I had to special order them. Plus whenever I see a new one I tend to purchase it. There have been a few I missed out on though but not many. Back in the old days I would have loved to have more droids to play with since all we had was R2 & R5-D4. I guess that is why I like them. I also loved that they came out with that insane looking protocol droid from tatooine.

The cardboard piece is a little beat up but all there and staying together. I wish I still had the similar AT-AT piece for the Hoth version.

I open most everything because I personally like to hold them and pose them together.

Next I need to choose from (Luke & Leia), (Yoda, Obiwan, & the jedi), (Han Chewie Lando & Wookies), (The rebels & misc regular folk), (Other Imperials & the Emperor), plus the vehicles & playsets that go with them. Also I need a misc blog of Books Mags, Glasses, etc.
